On my last visit seven months ago to the family-friendly, 4-acre, suburban Riverstone wetlands (haven for wading birds) there were 12 nutria (by my count), an invasive, beaver-like, red-toothed rodent that can be damaging to a wetland (eats roots, bores holes). No more! Either an aligator was introduced purposely or slid in from adjacent Steep Bank Creek, but the nutria are gone. Here's the well-fed fellow him (or her) self! So, keep your pet on a leash going forward. Sugar Land, Texas.
Number 322 of my 365 photo challenge - A split-toned, focus stacked, macro image of a pair of skeletal Chinese Lanterns.
This was indeed a very difficult stack to get right and there are many mistakes within the image but I am generally happy with it. I am keen to improve upon it so any constructive advice on how to achieve a more seamless blend in Photoshop would be greatly appreciated! :-)
