35014 'Nederland Line' ready to go with the Bournemouth Belle on 12/11/61. Unknown photographer - not me!
Designed and created by me, Chad Killeen. Folded from one uncut square of tissue foil. Designed in August 2008.
A like this model for a few reasons, it has a folding sequence that I could actually diagram, it has a nice result, and I designed very quickly (its base is not all that complex). Though I might like to refold it with some tissue foil(which works well for this model) that is the same color on both sides.
(The nine tailed fox is a creature from Japanese mythology)
The borders are finished. All I have to do is add the rows of nine-patch outside the borders, and then find someone to quilt it for me.

I'm finding the 56mm to be great for isolating detail in the streets and giving a nice two-dimensional look with the extra compression. It's a great companion!

This is my entry for the American Patchwork and Quilting Nine Patch Challenge for Quiltcon2017.
Rejected, sadly.
I used lovely shot cottons and coordinating solids. And LOTS of dense free motion quilting.
It's a small crime
And I've got no excuse
Is that alright?
Is that alright?
Is that alright with you?
No...
Lyrics from Nine Crimes by Damien Rice, that song is just beyond beautiful. My heart breaks everytime i hear that song, will never fail to touch my soul.
This wasn't the photo i said about on the previous one which was incredibly similar to that one but this one is reasonably similar too, sorry if it all gets a bit samey.
The series continues with nine more all-sky images, taken with both a Holga 120GN and a modified Holga 120N, with fisheye lens attachment. The more intense blues in this set are the result of cross-processed slide film. I don't have a "go to" choice in slide film, but I did use up my stash of Agfa RSX II 200 along with Fuji Velvia (50 and 100).

When you visit Cuba, you soon realise that time seems to stop on the island, from the colonial architecture to the classic cars and the horse-drawn carriages. Time seems to be one of the few things that many Cubans have plenty of. I captured this scene in the streets of Gibara, a small fishing village on the north-eastern coast of the island. The game of dominoes is one of the pastimes that best identifies the nature of Cubans and covers every inch of the island. Playing dominoes provides an excellent excuse for having a few shots of rum with friends, of exchanging opinions on the political scene worldwide and the latest gossip in the neighborhood.
