In trying to unlock the Pixie Magic that lives in old manual focus Nikon Nikkor lenses, I took to wandering the streets at dusk. I've had these images for months, now. And I've only today found an image processing approach that appeals to me. Think "The Batman" with dark shadows with a hint (or more) of detail.
In the end, I've convinced myself the Magic I'm looking for isn't in the optics. It's elsewhere.
This was made using a Sony A7 and Nikon Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 AiS shot wide open.
