The Christmas tree on the Mound.
A gift from the people of Bergen's Hordaland Community in Norway, the 20ft tree weighs more than three tonnes.It is the 28th year of this special bond of friendship between Norway and Scotland marking the assistance us Scots provided during those dark days of World War II.
Upon the fall of Norway in 1940, more than 7,000 exiles were based in Scotland as the Norwegian Brigade, fighting to free their country. The help and support they received from us Scots has never been forgotten.

The Crossing
Just managed to catch those sunstreams that were coming through small breaks in the clouds
Nice views on the Caucasus Mountains, which are the highest mountains of Europe (at least if you count Georgia to Europe, while Georgia is actually situated in Asia). This all was to see from my Hotel "Gudauri Inn".
