The tower on the Hard Rock Cafe at Niagara Falls really stands out against the sunset here. And, yes, the sunset really was that orange at the horizon, the way the shot is framed crops the brighter part of the sky above it.

Visitors to Niagara Falls can view the American Falls at the base by descending to the river and travelling along a series of viewing platforms. Most of the structure is removed every winter and rebuilt in the spring.
