Twin Pronghorn Antelope fawns, just minutes old, will stick very close to mom for the first couple of days. Then their long skinny legs will be strong enough to run more than a few minutes at a time.

This is taken from the opposite bank of the river where I was walking a small section of the Yoredale Way. The Yoredale Way is a long distance walk that follows the course of the River Ure, from its source on the high fells in the Yorkshire Dales National Park above Kirkby Stephen, to the village of Boroughbridge.

The bridge over the River Leven at Newby Bridge in Cumbria dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England.
For the first time in over 30 years, our ginkgo tree has ‘fruit’! Actually, they are not fruits, but seeds, but they look very similar to mirabelle plums! Only the female ginkgo trees can bear fruit.
N Yorkshire......The double herbaceous border-at 172m in length-is one of the longest in the country. With its north-south axis, the border holds the fine William & Mary house at the top, and slopes down to the River Ure at the bottom.

A pair of recently rebuilt AC44C6M's 8107 and 8126 lead the northbound 472 at the south siding switch Bettendorf. This train will eventually turn right at Samoa and terminate at Bensenville.

The loco is now in its original guise, as delivered to the Carron Iron Company, Falkirk, as number 14, where it worked until 1947.

Visiting Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway A Class 52322 approaches Newby Bridge with the first train of the day to Lakeside. The locomotive would be running the service trains for one weekend only, having taken part in photo charters during the week.
