I have "played" at learning to play guitar for several years now. Although I started again about a month ago, I am making it a goal of the New Year to learn to play well.

Day 45~
Reflecting on the incredible PATIENCE needed to spin wool. I am taking a class to learn all about the topic and last night we made our own hand spindles, carded some wool and tried our hand at spinning yarn.
Stopping smoking must be one of the most common New Year's Resolutions, along with dieting. Why is it, however, that New Year's Resolutions are so prone to failure. Is it simply because we make New Year's Resolutions that are notoriously so difficult to keep, or are there more subtle reasons for this phenomenon...?
