my new years resolution is to keep up with the current superhero comics. Looks like I'm off to a good start.
Years ago, I did an outdoor group boot camp program with my friend Dave who is an ex-Marine. Every morning at 6 AM he'd yell at us, "What color is your pee?" The correct answer was "Sparkling champagne, sir!" I would drink my ten glasses of water religiously in order to avoid some kind of corporal punishment like extra pushups or laps.
It never occurred to me to lie about the color of my pee.
Dave no longer does boot camp and over the years, I have slowly gotten out of the habit of drinking enough water. I wonder if I can persuade him to call me every morning at 6 and yell at me?

A new year is just around the corner, and one of my goals for 2018 is to UNPLUG more often so that I can get outside more, read more, exercise more and live more. Happy New Year!
