The delivery of Alstom's new intercity trains in the Netherlands is underway. This is the third of the series of thirty 8-carriage ICNG trainsets during a test drive. Seen at Amsterdam Central. The colors are not final yet and the train is still in some kind of black plastic. This 3203 ICNG already attracts some attention.
NS Intercity Nieuwe Generatie
Intercity New Generation (ICNG for short) is the project name for the purchase of new single-deck trainsets of the Dutch Railways (NS). The Coradia Stream trains are designed and built by Alstom and are intended for the NS intercity network. The trains are intended to replace older stock (such as the oldest ICMm and all ICRm), but also to accommodate the growth in the number of passengers. The trainsets will be used on the main rail network, the traditional railway network of NS, and also on the HSL South, where they will indirectly replace the V250.
NS has the plan to start using the new trains from 2021 on the route Breda - Rotterdam - Schiphol - Amsterdam. They start operating on the Eindhoven - Breda - Rotterdam - The Hague route. From 2023, the Breda - Rotterdam - Schiphol - Amsterdam South service will be extended to Almere - Lelystad - Zwolle - Assen - Groningen / Meppel - Heerenveen - Leeuwarden. The international operation on the route to Antwerp and Brussels will start from 2025.

Met this group at the premises of Indian Heritage Centre and they are most happy to have their shot taken. I must say they were spot on without any directions from me. All it takes was 10 seconds to decide. What a lovely family team.
No flash or elaborate setup. Just shot it on the fly in a single frame. How I wish all my people shot works the same way.
