This campus is currently being developed and the project is somewhat behind schedule.
The Central & East Quads for the DIT Grangegorman campus will accommodate academic activities and facilities required for a total of ten schools from the College of Sciences & Health, College of Engineering & Built Environment and the College of Arts & Tourism. These schools and their associated academic, teaching and specialist facilities will be grouped within the Central Quad to maximise the benefits and efficiencies to DIT from locating together related disciplines and functions.

I found this when I strayed off the proscribed pathways onto a rough pathway that led to the room that the swimming pool staff go to on their breaks. A whole new development, rising out of the earth...
20/02/09: Quarter mile development. The old hospital has been converted into flats with a new build alongside. I guess this is a love hate development but I think it all blends quite well and definitely wouldn't say no!
The Carson Street Commons leasing office at 2529 East Carson Street in the South Side Flats, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The apartment complex is a new development, and is managed by Faros Properties.
Model of the early sixties project meant to transform the town centre.
Brutalist in its conception it never caught the hold of the town and was heartily disliked.
Much of it was demolished and repurposed over the next fifteen years.
Now of one looks south of the Willis building the trees have softened the frontage which once offended much of the town.
The New London Awards 2018, recognising the very best new and proposed architecture, planning and development in the capital.
My daily lunchtime walk often takes me into SA1 and the new developments at Prince of Wales Dock.
This is the first photo I have taken of it that does it justice. Nice to see some sunshine for a change in this miserable so-called summer!
