‘Well rounded!’……Went for a short walk around the village and down past the University this morning - this new building was glowing in the morning sun - a far cry from the original main building (see 1st comment box)! We are on the BIG countdown on our 366 projects!! Less than week to go now - 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - yippee! Hope you are all good and staying Covid safe on YOUR countdown to the New Year! Alan:-)…….

It’s no contest for me, the older building sandwiched between the ugly new buildings, is far more pleasing on the eye ... We will live to regret the massive demolition work ... The word gentrification will be reviled ...
This is the new south east water building located at Frankston on the peninsula.
There has been a lot of debate on the look of this building. this shot was taken from the beach and creek side of the building, and is were most of the architecture is. from the street side its a much different story... it looks like one great big brick wall..and is the side most people are looking at. i decided to go down and have a crack at capturing some of the architecture in a l.e black and white fine art image... this is my results. Still not 100% sold on the design but i think once the landscape around the building is finished it will enhance the architecture and be quiet a nice view. Will be an even better view from inside with the multi level glass walls so you can lookout to the ocean. i was just lucky enough to fit the reflections from the creek in.. almost ran out of room. anyway, let us know your thoughts on the design.
