Early snow can be seen on Jim Mountain which towers over the Wapiti Valley west of Cody Wyoming. The peak is composed of layers of lava flows and volcanic debris flows. Wall-like dikes of igneous rocks cut through these flows and the sedimentary rocks that can be seen in the valley below. The Wapiti Valley was cut by the North Fork of the Shoshone River.
A relatively new home can be seen in the foothills below the mountain. I am not a big fan of the summer/ vacation/ new homes that are popping in what used to be open spaces beneath the mountains. These new constructions are proliferating on historic ranch land and endangering wildlife migration routes and wintering grounds. Keep Wyoming Wild and Wonderful!

Visiting from the GWS Didcot, GWR new build '29xx' (Saint) Class 4-6-0 'Lady of Legend' gets away from Highly with the 13.20 Bridgenorth - Kidderminster passenger service.
For me, this was the star of the show - although I do admit to some element of bias!

Although known as the New Building, this part of Peterborough Cathedral dates from 1496. The beautiful perpendicular fan vaulted ceiling was designed by John Wastell, the architect of King's College Chapel, Cambridge and the Bell Harry Tower at Canterbury Cathedral.

Het is spookachtig stil in winkelcentrum Kijkduin, het gaat dan ook al in oktober 2019 tegen de vlakte om plaats te maken voor nieuwbouw. Om het allemaal wat op te vrolijken zijn graffitikunstenaars in de weer geweest.

It is hauntingly quiet in the Kijkduin shopping centre, so in October 2019 it was already going down the drain to make way for new construction. To cheer things up, graffiti artists have been busy.
Built on top of the frames of a Hall Class locomotive, this new engine from Didcot was visiting the East Lancashire Railway. She is one of the newest steam engines in the world. Interestingly the Halls were first built on the frames of a Saint.
Believe it or not this beautiful house being built here on the Rideau River, that we're viewing between the trees, is worth over a million dollars. Lucky family moving in, with this amazing view.
