What a scenic approach through a lovely subalpin forest. Shot taken at Glacier Nationalpark, Canada.
I discovered this wonderful artist in December. This is a photo of an original print on canvas I bought from him.
"I must go down to the sea again,
to the lonely sea and the sky;
I left my shoes and socks there -
I wonder if they're dry? "
~ Spike Milligan
They did not change much compared to they dinosaur relatives. Chilling in the sunshine the whole day makes them seem super lazy. The more impressive it is to see them on the hunt.

The Hall of Mosses Trail in the Hoh Rainforest (part of the Olympic National Park) is filled with old temperate trees covered in green and brown mosses. Trees include bigleaf maples and Sitka spruces. The mosses on the trees do not damage the trees. However, the trees can fall by the winds in storms because of their shorter roots due to the abundance of nutrients and water in the forest. Many trees and mosses grow from and over the fallen tree trunks.
