Thank you very much for your comments and faves, regretfully, I am finding it increasingly difficult to reply to your comments, because of my very limited time on the internet, due to constant power interruptions in South Africa. I do read and appreciate every one of them! Thanks again!!

My first experiment with a neural density filter; I was clueless about using a formula for the shutter speed, now I’m finding charts to guide me (at least I hope they will :). Waves breaking just below the fishing pier at Galveston.

This is a re-edit of a picture I took earlier this year. Editing techniques and technology have seriously advanced since I first processed this. I could spend some more time on it, but I made the changes I was trying to perfect. Hint: AI and Neural Filters.

When I visited Kubota Garden in early November, most of the autumn leaves had fallen from the tree. So I tried the Photoshop Neural Filter for landscapes and turned up the sliders for autumn and sunset. There was some odd distortion but I did get some autumn leaves that way! See the actual tree in the comments.
Happy Tree-mendous Tuesday!
Skynet is a fictional artificial neural network-based conscious group mind and artificial general superintelligence system that serves as the antagonistic force of the Terminator Movie franchise.
In the first film, it is stated that Skynet was created by Cyberdyne Systems for SAC-NORAD. When Skynet gained self-awareness, humans tried to deactivate it, prompting it to retaliate with a nuclear attack, an event which humankind in (or from) the future refers to as Judgment Day. From that point forward mankind was at war with the machines. -- Courtesy Wikipedia

This is a cutout filter and neural filter applied to reeds in water and bright sunlight. The initial photo was too dark and a bit muddled to be interesting, so i thought I would play around to get this colourful abstract.
Alexander had always been fascinated by the concept of time travel. He spent years tinkering in his workshop, trying to create a machine that could transport him through time. Finally, after many failed attempts, he managed to build one that could move him backwards in time by five minutes.
With excitement and a great deal of trepidation, Alexander climbed into the machine and set the dials. After a five minute launch procedure, the machine hummed to life. Alexander felt a strange sensation wash over him. Suddenly, he was back in time, standing just a few feet away from himself.
Alexander's clone looked just as surprised as he did, and the two men started arguing about who should test the machine first. Neither of them wanted to miss out on the chance to experience time travel, so they decided to go back in time together.
As they emerged from the time machine, they were very surprised to meet the two Alexanders arguing over who should test the machine first. The four of them stared at each other in disbelief, but quickly realized that they were all versions of the same person.
Upon this realisation, their eyes all lit up and all four climbed through the portal.
"Soon our army will rule the world!" they cackled in unison....

Meet Mr. Smyth and his interesting device. He calls it a Neuralizer, look at the beatiful light... FLASH
Okay, now that's done and you don't remember any of my older pics. Today is the end of my 5th year in the Toy Project, and it's getting harder to have new ideas - thanks to Mr.Smyth that's not necessary anymore, I can repeat myself over and over and you simply won't remember :o)
It still is much fun, I am currently not running out of ideas. On the other hand I had my two favourite cars with me last Wednesday, found a nice muddy spot - but I couldn't find anything new How interesting is the same car in just another mudhole?

"In 1815, German inventor Johann Maelzel patented his mechanical, wind-up metronome as a tool for musicians, under the title "Instrument/Machine for the Improvement of all Musical Performance, called Metronome"...Wikipedia
The Metronome here was "Made in Germany," but no other distinguishing marks. Perhaps, Maelzel forgot to add his signature! LOL!

The scene shows an environment characterized by intricate, web-like structures forming an interconnected network of sentient beings. This phenomenon, termed the "Ethereal Biocognitive Nexus," suggests a complex xeno-biological system where consciousness and physical form merge in a symbiotic relationship.

“This artistic manifestation, with its rigorous denial of chromatic texture or overt symbolism, offers a compelling deconstruction of the human condition within the post-modern zeitgeist. The total absence of visual or sensory components, and refusal to allude to the socio-political struggles of our era, reveals a deep-seated existential angst that permeates all of contemporary culture. By challenging the viewer's preconceived notions and subverting traditional artistic tropes, this work invites a profound introspection into the core of our being, forcing us to confront the inherent contradictions and uncertainties of our existence. Its sublime beauty and minimal conceptual framework makes it a truly transcendent example of contemporary art, pushing the boundaries of artistic expression and offering a new paradigm for the future of creative endeavour.”

This experimental craft was designed with the intention of drastically increasing survivability of pilots. It features a completely-enclosed hard shell cockpit area that completely shields the pilot and also allows the use of an experimental gamma-infused cannon since the armored enclosure also protects against most radiation types.
The downside of this cockpit layout means that this craft can only be piloted by pilots who have the necessary cybernetic neural implants (cyborgs and synthetic humanoids) to be able to directly interface with the ship’s exterior sensors. Fully organic pilots with no cybernetic augmentation are unable to pilot this craft as they would be literally and figuratively flying blind behind the controls.
