Taken while waiting at the door for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Surprisingly there was no line. Less surprising after I saw the movie.
TOM WHEELER is one of the main obstacles to NET NEUTRALITY and even recently sent a long and detailed message to CONGRESS pointing out that NET NEUTRALITY would turn out to be the "OBAMA CARE" OF THE INTERNET.
Speaking of which, even President Obama has gone ON RECORD supporting NET NEUTRALITY but despite this, many of those in Congress have sided with TOM WHEELER'S vision of how damaging NET NEUTRALITY could be. Damaging to WHO?
To the BIG TIME PHONE AND CABLE PROVIDERS. That's who!
Aside from his verbal support of NET NEUTRALITY and the INTERNET as it was originally envisioned, as "free from censorship and government intervention" President Obama has not taken any further steps to protect and ensure that NET NEUTRALITY will remain as it should be. And it's obvious that BIG TIME CABLE has already made some serious moves towards doing away with NET NEUTRALITY. Those are in favor of keeping the internet "uncensored and free of any government intervention" should Google the term "Net Neutrality". There is a wealth of information on what it is, how it came to be and what can happen if we lose the benefits that NET NEUTRALITY has, and what it will continue to bring us. It's such en enormous and precious tool that we stand to lose.
