The Flaneur With A Camera notices a significant number of disintegrating basketball hoops throughout the North City of St. Louis. Could this be because hoops dreams (or any of the other sports dreams for that matter) are finally being abandoned as a way of elevating oneself -- compared to education and exercising one's mind? He hopes beyond hope.

definitely in the family lycidae and genus calopteron, though i am not sure if this is a banded net-winged (calopteron discrepens) or a reticulated net-winged (calopteron reticulatum) beetle
