Great old sign in Tacoma. I had passed it several times, and finally stopped to take a shot. Only the neon for the 7 and 8 still works - I thought the place must have been closed for years, but when I stopped, it looks like the business itself is alive and well.

Anchored for years by N&D Supermarket (now a Liquidation World). Grand Marais Road, Windsor, February 23, 2008

This was a location in downtown Kenosha that's no longer in business, but it was likely one of their older locations, before closing something like a year or 2 ago(based on a comment I saw online). It even had a rare neon sign that came on at night.

I remember going into this store at least twice(on 2 different visits to Kenosha), before it closed for good. Unfortunately around sometime in 2012, this store sadly closed for good.

I got a close-up of the neon, but really liked the lettering on the front of the store too

New business. "Art uncorked". BYOB and paint. Nice neon sign.

We had a brief conversation with one of the employees, outside on a smoke break. He told us that the Lucky Silver had been named after a race horse, and had been here since the 40's. He told us lots of people stopped by to take photos of the sign; the owner's son works in neon, and has maintained it. He did acknowledge that it could use some paint, but told us he was too old to get up there to paint it himself.

Ramsay Sign Co. installs the historically replicated "candlestick" neon blade sign on the historic 7th Street Theatre in Hoquiam, WA. This is a replication of the original sign from 1928 which was on the building for less than 20 years.

Cam Dowell, Jr. was involved in banking and insurance concerns in Dallas during the late 50's through the early 80's. This building is in the 2800 block of Washington Street in Greenville, Texas. It was formerly an automobile showroom, skating rink and finally insurance offices of Cam F. Dowell, Jr. The old neon sign remains and has lasted longer than Cam Dowell was in business in Greenville!

Wasn't sure if this was Cicero or Berwyn, looks like it's Cicero!

I'm not very satisfied with this. I shot it hand held with no tripod.

One of my favorite welcome signs I've seen! Looks recent. Back of sign (shown in comment) says "Thanks for Visiting! Drive carefully"
