After a Permanent Ascent Concert at KC's Music Alley.

After breakfast, Mrs P was packed and ready to go to Devon this morning. She will be down there for a fortnight or so. I took Bonny for her walk as Mrs P left. As I was leaving I noticed that the horses (three of them) were up by the gate in the orchard. The neighbour's daughter-in-law is a competitive rider and has several horses that she competes with. During the autumn/winter three of the older ones no longer competing are brought here (they are pets really!)

I did a few household bits and pieces and kept Mrs P advised of traffic difficulties on the M5. She arrived safely this afternoon.

I made some more compote with the remaining apples from my neighbour. It was only one 1L jar, but it'll add to the collection.

June Flickr Scavenger Challenge #13. We celebrate Father's Day in the US this month, so let's give dads the spotlight.

Since i won't see my own dad until June 28th I chose to use one of my dad friends. My friend is a really good dad. His son wanted to pretend to be horses. My friend ran with him, even though he has a bad knee.
