The day is neigh that Daddy will become a you know what cat. On Friday he'll be neutered by our very capable vet Mark. And we are happy to report that we have found a wonderful home for him where he (and Dreamer) will be spoiled to an inch of their lives.
Still, it breaks my heart doing it. He is such a sweet and beautiful boy. If sweetness would be the deciding factor he'd never leave our home. However, for a TICA breeder it's the TICA breed standard... and based on that he's going to be a very beautiful pet.
To deal with my serious daddy issues, I have taken and posted some pictures of him. Hope you like them too!
this was a feb 2003 anti iraq-war ralley
police presence was heavy-handed. police corralled protesters with horses, shoving old people and mothers with strollers. we started chanting 'neigh to horses.'
Pardon the pun in the title, i could not resist :)

As we were leaving The Buckman School campus we saw these little fellars tethered to the sidewalk.
This is the second set of horses we have seen in Portland of this type tethered to the old steel horse ties that are still embedded in some of the sidewalks here.
I love the horsies, and I love street art and public sculpture/art even more. These are great.
