Hi people! This is my latest build which some of you probably have already seen in the shitty picture I took yesterday. It's my build for day 6 and 7 of the RebelLUG VIGNWEEK Contest. We had 48 hours to build something involving a Star Wars bounty hunter, known to the galaxy or not. First I wanted to use Cad Bane and Embo but in the end I just went with a random character.
Also, I just bought some new background colors (like this one) so you can expect different backgrounds depending on the build from now on.

Tripod-mounted & filter free & manually triggered shutter with remote triggered stobe, modified by barndoors. Lightsaber enhanced in Photoshop & the whole treated to a halftone & green wash, to compliment the yellow of Ms Tano's sabre. HSS!
The Vynohradiv Sunday Market is in full swing as Ukrainian Railways (UZ) 750mm gauge class 'Tu2' Bo-Bo diesel-electric No.034 negotiates its way between market stalls, traders, wandering browsers and trees, over undulating, waterlogged and debris-strewn track, the 08:20 departure, service train 6604 for Kmil'nyk on 23rd April 2017, which will cover the 25 kilometres in 1 hour and 20 minutes at a cost of about 17 pence for a one way ticket!

Walking in Hong Kong is fun! We went to visit the Man Mo Temple in Central, then we walked towards Pottinger Street, known for its street market with little shops. On the way I discovered a narrow building, perfect for a fisheye shot.
I processed a paintery and a balanced HDR photo from three RAW exposures, merged them selectively, and carefully adjusted the color balance and curves. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.

Built for the Star Wars Olympics at Imperium der Steine.
The task was to build a scene on 32x32 including one of the polybag-figs. My build shows the first scene of Episode I, using the TC-14 minifigure.

Photographers have as much right to exclusive access to a view as I have to the bit of road outside our house. Usually if someone wants to move into your view there’s a bit of a negotiation. You say you’ll be a couple of minutes longer or you agree where they can stand without impeding your shot. When the lady with Camera and her husband / partner / friend walked into the beach as I was adjusting my tripod I stepped back and waited as the lady proceeded to shoot the boat from every conceivable angle. I twiddled with my focus and exposure settings as they stopped by the rudder. The man was looking at me as they proceeded to have a conversation about the price of fish - and then COP26 - and then the Booker prize shortlist (insert other subjects here …….) This took about 5 mins - well you could Photoshop them out I thought but I was also shooting on film which makes it a bit harder. Then off they went on a second rotation of the boat. The lady found the mast particularly interesting and took several more shots. Another inspection of the rudder and then off for a third rotation “OH FFs” you know the expression I muttered under my breath but somehow it slipped out of my mouth at about 97 decibels. The man gave the lady a nudge. Took the hint and “the unwanted stowaways” made a retreat up the beach. In the end the shots I got were worth waiting for.
Defending your territory doesn't necessarily mean you have to fight.

This is a canine negotiation. One Bonio will buy my shoe back. A wonderful moment in time when he just takes it in his head to negotiate for a Bonio. We have been playing this game for 12 years and his rules never change. The shoe is never damaged because he wants to use it again for yet another negotiation on his terms. He just brings me my shoe and stares at me from about 3 feet away. He knows what will happen next. He judges the distance to perfection. Close enough to tempt me to make a grab for it but far enough away for him to just move his head away and make me miss.
