In “Makey Makey,” a new workshop at Clover College, youth built computer joysticks using “Makey Makey” kits and Play-Doh (which acts as a conductor because it contains salt). To operate their “joysticks,” the youth had to “ground” themselves. Instructors: Savannah Schafer, ExtensionCorps Member & Lauren Hull, Happy Orchard Intern

4-H'ers learned how to cut and measure fabric, use a pattern, use an iron to neatly press open seams, and thread and sew. Each sewer also had the opportunity to use a serger machine to finish seam edges.

Fair Clothing Superintendents hosted the workshop. Adult volunteers and parents were on hand for one-on-one guidance.
