Well, Yosemite and navigation around there could get pretty complicated. So, I just caught out a moment very quickly when a fellow traveler read the map. The light from outside partly lit the map.

This is one of the lighthouses near Killbear Marina - watch for rocks everyone! It also appears that there is no osprey nest this year - too bad :-(

For those wondering about the silence on the posts: two reasons.

First, I've been working on gum prints for the last month. Pretty much every night. So far, I've ruined something like 25 prints. Things are improving, and I've got a particular look that I'm trying to achieve, so it will probably be a while before I get there. When I do you can rest assured a post will wind up here!

Second, I entered four shots in the annual Phillips Mill juried exhibition this year which took quite a bit of prep work. The four shots I entered were all from this series - documenting the impact of cell phone adoption on us as a society. Like this young woman who's about to run in to a curb thanks to her space-age communicator.

My shots weren't picked by the judges so I now feel free to post them. :)

The emphasis on navigation is apparent once again with this in box leaflet. Given that the majority of N78 owners will be getting a GPS enabled phone for the first time (and given it is one of the less established phone functions) it make sense to really emphasise the feature.
