Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expects that over one lakh people would attend the rally and the people of Kashmir are eager to listen to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Former Prabhari Jammu and Kashmir Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that despite militant threats and the vicious misinformation campaign launched by PDP, NC the party is ready for the PM’s rally. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal said that our party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) expects that over one lakh people would attend the rally. He stated that it's a sheer frustration on the part of the PDP leaders that they have now chosen to spread rumors to score the point. He said that the people of Kashmir have made up their mind that they would be voting for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) this time so as to empower the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to carry out his visionary agenda of development in Jammu and Kashmir. Grewal stated that our party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is determined to hold the rally at any cost and it would not be cowed down by the threats in the form of militant strikes. He said that the people of the Valley are eager to listen to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi agenda for the development of Jammu and Kashmir and the police and other security agencies have made "fool proof" arrangements. Grewal claimed that over one lakh people will attend the historic rally which will be a turning point in the politics and governance of the state. He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir and have seen the misrule of successive Governments of two families and have this time pinned their hopes on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Talking with the media persons at railway track Shergarh today, National Secretary Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that today at hundreds of places in India lakh's of farmers are sitting on Railway tracks. He said that it's a message to the Congress led UPA Government does not take any positive step on the demands of the farmers, now BJP Kisan Morcha is ready for Kisan Aakrosh Divas on 7th February throughout the country. He said on that day morcha workers and farmers will sit on Railway track for which Government of india will be responsible. Grewal stated that after the Kisan Adhikar Divas by Kisan Morcha on 30th January the death anniversary of Gandhi and Kisan Morcha had stage dharnas in all the 618 district centres in pain and grief to expose anti- farmer polices of Congress-led UPA government before the general public. Grewal said that in Congress led UPA Government, the farmers of our country are facing drought condition created by the policies of government. He said that when the crops are destroyed, it is the death of the farmer not the crops. He said that 1,45,000 farmers were forced to commit suicides during the UPA rule. He alleged that the Government is directly responsible for these suicides. He said that the out dated policies and non implementation of the proposed polices are behind these deaths. Grewal said that the benefit of UPA government’s loan waiver scheme went to banks and not to farmers. He said that the banks are now sending notices of attachment to farmers. The farmers of Yamuna Nagar in Haryana have even offered to give their kidney against payment of loans. Grewal said that BJP Kisan Morcha will raise issue of implementation of Swaminathan Commission regarding remunerative prices with 50% profit for the farmers. He said that our other issues are the recommendations made by the Chief Ministers Committee about compensation of Rs 10,000 per acre for risk management must also be implemented, the increased prices of mixed fertilizers must be taken back.

On a petition filed by Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, Namberdar Village Bhukhari Kalan, Ludhiana in public interest as Public Interest Litigation, Challenging Unconstitutional and illegal collection of Additional 3% Stamp Duty known as “Social Security Fund” in 39 Class-II, 31 Class-III and 29 Nagar Panchayats all over the State of Punjab, the Hon’ble Division Bench consisting of Hon’ble The Chief Justice and Hon’ble Justice Hemant Gupta of Punjab and Haryana High Court after hearing the counsel Shri Sanjay Tangri, issued Notice of Motion to the State of Punjab. On the asking of the court, Sh. Amol Rattan Singh, Additional Advocate General, Punjab accepted the notice on behalf of the State of Punjab and sought time to seek the instructions. Now the case is fixed for hearing on 04-02-2008. Shri Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal, has approached the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana Court by way of filling a petition under Articles 226 /227 of the Constitution of India through his counsels Shri Sanjay Tangri and Gaurav Tangri seeking the issuance of a writ in the nature of Prohibition prohibiting the state of Punjab from charging the additional stamp duty, commonly known as “Social Security Fund” which is being charged even on the instruments which are executed in the areas outside the areas of Municipal Corporation and Class I Municipalities of the State of Punjab against the provisions of Indian Stamp (Punjab Amendment) Act, 2005. Shri Grewal in his petition has also prayed before the Hon’ble High Court that a writ of mandamus may also be issued directing the State of Punjab to refund the illegally deducted additional stamp duty to the persons from whom it has been charged, alongwith interest @ 18% per annum compounded half yearly calculated from the date of such deposit till its actual repayment to such persons. Prior to approaching the Hon’ble High Court, Shri Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal had served notices on 14th November 2008 to District Commissioners all over Punjab under Section 166 of Indian Penal Code and Section 80 of Code of Civil Procedure calling upon them not to recover additional 3% Stamp Duty from “Class-II”, “Class-III” Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats in their revenue districts violating Indian Stamp Act. Grewal added that notices were also issued under section 80 of CPC for initiating civil proceedings against the erring Civil Servants and he will ensure that loss to be public will be personally recovered from them as per provisions of the law. Grewal stated that he had already written a letter to Sardar. Prakash Singh Badal and he is confident that the SAD-BJP Government will soon provide relief to people of Punjab. He added that he had also apprised Professor Rajindra Bhandari, BJP President of Punjab about the above “Jazia Tax” imposed by Capt. Amarinder Singh violating Indian Stamp Act and Party President had given him assurance that justice will prevail.

National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal terming the claims of the contest Narendra Modi-versus-Rahul Gandhi, in the 2014 Lok-Sabha elections as ridiculous. Grewal said that it's like saying that there is a contest between a mole and a mountain. In a press statement here today, Grewal said that Rahul has no experience in politics and governance, while Modi has both in abundance. He said that Congress has several leaders better than Rahul, but the congress party does not promote them. Grewal said that the Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi elections would play important roles during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. He said that our party BJP would get the honour of shaping the country fortunes under Narendra Modi's leadership. He said that people of Country are prepared by their Heart's for vote in favour of BJP and they wants that Narendra Modi should also get ready to play a major role for the country. Grewal also claimed that the party would get more seats than projected by exit polls and form the government with a huge mandate. He said that now the Congress party would not be able to come to power in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi for the coming next 30 years, like it's happened in West Bengal and other states of the country.

Punjab BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal condemned the recent incidents of racial attacks on youths from the North East in Delhi and other parts of the country. Talking with the media persons here today Grewal said that such dastardly attacks on North East youth in Delhi and other places outside the region are most despicable and reprehensible. Grewal said that we are trying to enactment of a deterrent law to prevent such racial attacks on North East youth in Delhi and other parts of the country. He also called for stern action against such racial attacks. It's well known each and everybody that two attacks on youths from the North East, were reported from Delhi and Bangalore.

Talking with the media persons here today youth BJP Leader asked Government of Pakistan to ensure that the bail granted to the chief accused conspirator in the 26/11 attack in Mumbai Zaki-ur Rehman Lakhvi is reversed even as a united Lok Sabha denounced it. Grewal said that our Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had conveyed to Pakistan in the strongest possible words, its shock at this development. Grewal told that the Government of India message is conveyed to the Pakistan Foreign Office by Indian High Commissioner in Islamabad TCA Raghavan. He said that our country do not accept that Zaki ur Rehman Lakhvi who is the 26/11 mastermind and has been declared an international terrorist by the U.N. is released on bail. Grewal said that we demand that the Government of Pakistan should have this decision overturned immediately. He said that our Government of India is keeping watch on their response. Grewal further stressing that the Pakistan Government by furnishing evidence, must ensure that those behind the Mumbai massacre were punished. Grewal told that Government of India has reject this argument that there is lack of adequate evidence. BJP Kisan Morcha National Secretary Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said here that unlike the Congress the SAD-BJP alliance did not thrive on vendetta politics, adding that the state SAD-BJP Government would go by the findings of the revenue department inquiry into shady land deals. Countering Punjab Congress President Partap Singh Bajwa allegations of political vendetta, speaking at the Leaderspeak@HT programme Bajwa had accused the SAD-BJP Government of singling him out over land deals. it's 100% political vendetta. The fight won't end here it's just started Bajwa had said. Addressing a press conference here today Grewal said the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) did not believe in the politics of retribution and its priority was overall development of our state. He said our SAD-BJP Government action would be initiated against every individual found guilty of land grab irrespective of his political affiliation. On the alleged involvement of certain political leaders in drug smuggling Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said our SAD-BJP State Government had already launched a massive campaign against drugs and it was committed to taking strict action against anybody caught in the smuggling net howsoever senior or politically well-connected he may be. Lashing out at the Punjab Congress Grewal said the party was facing the wrath of the people and was totally frustrated. The hollow leaders of the dying party are bent upon indulging in propaganda against the SAD-BJP Government over empty coffers. Grewal asked the Congress Party to give details of the development projects they brought, if any, for Punjab during its five-year tenure 2002-07. Replying to a query on the Ludhiana Metro rail project Grewal said the Rs.10,000-crore project was being financed by the union government as well as international companies. He said it would take at least five years to complete the project. Referring to the Budha Nullah at Ludhiana National Secretary BJP said the state government had formulated a Rs. 250-crore plan for its beautification and clean-up this project very soon.

National BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal on thursday met Bhai Gurubaksh Singh Khalsa who is on hunger strike at Gurdwara Sri Lakhnaur Sahib, 10th Patshahi near Ambala in Haryana. Grewal learnt about the health condition of Bhai Khalsa and shown solidarity with his struggle for the release of Sikh political prisoners who are languishing in jails of India. Grewal was accompanied by Avtar Singh Machhiwara, Ramandeep Singh, Swaran Singh along with other Sikh BJP leaders from Punjab. It's well known to each and everybody that Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa has continued to raise his voice for the freedom of Sikh political prisoners, now from Gurdwara Sri Lakhnaur Sahib in Haryana. He is facing some health issues, but he continues to be steadfast about his demands for the release of Singh prisoners. Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa stated that there are some people who are trying to malign his name and associate him with non-Sikh organizations. “My mission is only to seek the release of imprisoned Singh prisoners, I have no association with anyone besides Guru Granth Sahib and Guru’s sangat,” stated Bhai Gurbaksh Singh to BJP leader Grewal. Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa said that to fulfill his mission, he has approved BJP senior leaders because the “Panthik” Government of Punjab has to this day not shown any interest in the well being of imprisoned Singh prisoners.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal will run away again and his forget promises, National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal today attacking AAP chief, asked the people of Delhi not to vote for a person who runs away and forgets his promises. Addressing a public meeting here today noon at Sanjay Gandhi transport nagar, Badli Vidhan Sabha Halka Delhi Grewal said the party will fight the upcoming Assembly poll with booth level strategy. He said the party workers and general public to go to every house, to every family and spend at least a few minutes everyday and make them understand that this Arvind Kejriwal will again run away and he is again making promises which he will not fulfill because he knows he won't be able to their precious votes. Grewal said that the fight in Delhi is between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party and Congress is nowhere in the scene. He said the fight in Delhi is a two cornered contest between AAP and BJP, and Congress is nowhere. Taking a dig at the former chief minister Grewal alleged that before coming to power in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal used to travel in a small car, but after 49 days of his government, he is now travelling in an SUV in Delhi, If you bring him for five years, he will park an aeroplane outside his house. Asking party workers to follow the structure made for campaigning, he said, If you work according to the booth level structure we have planned, no one can stop your victory and Delhi will be a model to other states of the country. Grewal said after winning elections in states like Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir, the party's victory march has now reached Delhi, and if the battle is won here, Bihar will also be won. Grewal said that Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi is now one of world's greatest leaders and under his leadership we will win Delhi with at least two third majority. Accusing AAP leader of "lying" he added, Arvind Kejriwal is lying that during his term there was not a single raid for VAT on traders of Delhi. Grewal said he will not take any support from either Congress or BJP in forming Government and also said that he will take action against Shiela Dikshit for irregularities in CWG, but he did nothing as he took the backing of Congress to form the Government.

Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal National Secretary, BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh alleged that it was the Congress which had started dividing the country soon after the Independence and not the Bharatiya Janta party Prime Ministerial Candidate Shri Narendra Modi. In a press statement today here Grewal said that Congress party, RJD and even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar miss no opportunity to tell people particularly the minorities that if Narendra Modi comes to power, he will divide the country on the basis of religion. He said but the truth is that Congress for the sake of power facilitated the partition of the country after Independence against the will of Mahatama Gandhi. On criticising Congress party's predictions that Shri Narendra Modi would be "Divisive" if he becomes the prime minister, Grewal questioned why the Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi did not divide his state after being elected thrice. He said that Congress party, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal ( United ) believe in creating fear psychosis among Muslims to corner their votes. National Secretary hit back at Congress party first family and claimed that though they Shmt. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi have taken Gandhi's name but it was the BJP which was truly following Mahatama Gandhi's idea. Grewal also lambasted the Manmohan Singh's, Government for lowering the prestige of the nation by 'stooping' before China and Pakistan. He said that our neighbour country China claims Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh and the Government remains a mute spectator. Grewal said that BJP is likely to get a vote share of 37 percent while the ruling Congress will get 75 seats with a vote share of 33 percent. He said that BJP is likely to get 24 seats in Mewar as compared to 9 seats in 2008 assembly polls, while the Congress is likely to get around 10 seats as compared to 24 seats in 2008.

National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha from Punjab and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh Advocate, Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav statements strengthen the spirit of rapists, the gangrape and the murder of two Dalit sisters in Badaun is a result of their statements. In a press statement here today Grewal said the statements by Mulayam Singh Yadav and his son Akhilesh Yadav only strengthen the spirit of rapists. He said that a day after a journalist asked Akhilesh about the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh to which he had said, I hope you have not faced any danger. Grewal said that the journalist’s question was in the backdrop of the Badaun case and another gangrape incident in Azamgarh, the constituency of the SP chief. He said that people know that Mulayam Singh Yadav had last month raked up a huge controversy on rape cases when he had publicly said, “Ladke, ladke hain, galti ho jati hai (Boys are boys, they make such mistakes). That doesn’t mean that you award them capital punishment.” In the light of such remarks, the BJP leader apprehendedthat the Uttar Pradesh Government might not punish the accused in the Badaun case which might lead to repetition of such incidents. Grewal said that now he is fearing that the Uttar Pradesh Government won’t punish these rapists by taking them to Fast Track courts, so there will be repetition of such incidents.

A petrol pump was looted by three bike-borne miscreants at Bhambian Kalan on Tajpur Road late evening. The police reached the spot and have sounded alert in the city. The Sardar Kesar Singh Grewal Fuel Station is owned by BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal. Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal is the National General Secretary of the All-India BJP Kisan Morcha. He said the incident occurred around 7:30 pm, when three armed bike-borne persons came and by the time the fuel station employee could ask them anything, two of them took out their weapons and took the fuel station employee at gunpoint. Apart from fuel station employee, other people on two wheelers and four wheelers were also present at the pump. Fearing threat to life, some people opted to leave the station in a hurry, while others witnessed the entire incident. Armed robbers threatened the employees that they would shoot at them due to which one of them handed over the bag containing Rs 60,000 cash. “We could only notice the last number of the bike Passion Pro — 6337. The entire incident was recorded in the CCTV cameras and the police are verifying the footage to identify the robbers,” Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said.

Grewal said that the campaign would be launched from Amritsar under the aegis of the BJP party's youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He said that youth leader Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) and MP Shri Anurag Thakur and Punjab BJP chief Shri Kamal Sharma would be supervising the campaign against drugs. Grewal said that this Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) drive would cover our Punjab state in three phases, with its culmination to take place on the occasion of Baisakhi on April 14, 2015.
