Sometimes you just need to lay down and rest.
Captured in the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest, Foxboro, MA
It's so different photographing Waltz in comparison with the rest of the boys; there's a whole new realm of possibilities that I'm absolutely loving.
The Mexican spotted owl (Strix occidentalis lucida) is one of three subspecies of spotted owl. Though it is the smallest of the spotted owls, it is one of the largest owls in North America, and lives in old-growth forests.
Moo passed out :)
*I'm leaving for Europe in a few hours so this will be the last picture I submit until I come back :) I wish everyone a wonderful Fourth of July and I'll be back with tons of pictures not too long after that :D

I've been battling a lot of anxiety and stress the past couple of days. It has left me in a funk...
I wish I could go back to this moment - I was lying on the soft moss-covered volcanic rocks. I could actually feel the warmth of the sun because the wind had quieted down and everything was silent. I could feel the air around me.
Please no BIG glossy invites and awards!
I'm still on a break...........my other account takes all the time I have...:-)
Stupid me, yesterday I was multi-tasking, trying to quickly reorganize some of my Flickr sets, and I ended up deleting 4 of my pictures completely, instead of deleting them from the set only !
Some of these were part of my ‘most popular’ shots, had made it to Explore, had more than 200 faves, etc.
And once a pic is deleted from Flickr, there’s nothing to do to undelete them.
So I am simply going to upload them again, because I want them back in my Photostream. But they will be without the original comments, faves, etc.
Serves me right for not paying attention...
Anyway, enough with the ranting, feel free to fave and comment again, that might cheer me up a bit ;o)
