NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building
primarily houses technical equipment for cellular telephone services of Tokyo, hence it has less windows than many other skyscrapers.
At the top of the building is a 15
meter diameter clock which can be seen from the Shinjuku train station, which we decided to recreate using a working clock mechanism that was integrated into the LEGO® tower!
The vertical ridges of the tower were created by building the faces of the building sideways.
This model was designed and built by Ryan McNaught, Clayton Mellington and Stephan Froden using 14,297 LEGO® pieces over 52 hours
