Another one from the Archives. This one taken during a London Trip on 4 January 2019. Much more modern than the last one.
The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A68 with a Sigma 10-20 wide angle zoom at 10 mm. I took 3 shots for HDR. 3 raw images 2EV spacing processed with Photomatix Balanced. I used Topaz Clarity for more detail followed by an adjustment layer for more brightness in the lower part of the image with a layer mask.

1976 Ford Escort RS2000.
Last taxed in November 1992.
Anglia Car Auctions, King's Lynn -
"V5 Present
Chassis number: GCATSA19174
The vendor has owned this Ford Escort RS2000 MkII, registered in May 1976, since 1991, but it has been stored since 1993. The engine does turn over, although the keys have been lost. We're told by the vendor that this is the first of 500 examples built. Having been out of use for close to 30 years, the car will require restoration.
"The V5C is present and shows four previous registered keepers. The mileage recorded by the odometer is 28,536 miles, which is not warranted."
Sold for £15,120 including premium.
The platform is empty here despite it being a busy station and busy time at 6.45pm. The reason is that at Bank Station the DLR (Docklands Light Railway) is a terminus. This platform is for incoming trains and there is another platform for outgoing trains. Everybody has got off the train which has come in and left the platform as the train leaves. There were no problems from the Station Assistant though zooming in a full resolution he definitely had his eyes on me. This shot was taken a couple of London trips ago on 9 March
The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20 mm lens at 13mm.. Single image processed first in RAW. Noise was reduced using Topaz DeNoise and more detail with Topaz Clarity. More Pop with Topaz Adjust. Brighness/contrast adjustment layer with a layer mask to bring down brightness in the roof lights only. Used the crop tool for better composition but also to straighten by bring the mouse to a corner and dragging to crop at an angle. Clone tool used to remove part of a seat in the bottom left corner.

This is a view of the central staircase of this major Modernist building in Islington. Bevin Court was designed in the early 1950s by the famous Modern Movement architect Berthold Lubetkin, in conjunction with Francis Skinner and Douglas Bailey. It has been given a rare Grade II* listing by English Heritage in recognition of its architectural significance. Although it is council housing and was completed in 1954 it looks much more recent and even futuristic.
Going by keywords it has been photographed by a few but not many compared to other buildings of similar photographic merit. This is probably because it is private and access is by an entry phone system. I decided I might get short shrift if I disturbed a tenant and asked to photograph their stairs. I did not have to wait long though until somebody came out allowing me to enter.
The picture was taken handheld with a Sony A700 with a Sigma 10-20mm lens at 10 mm. 3 raw images 2EV spacing processed with Photomatix Real Estate setting. A high ISO was needed to get a fast enough shutter speed producing Noise which I removed with Topaz DeNoise. Topaz Clarity was also used. More punch with a clarity effect using unsharp mask 31 amount and 31 radius.
