I'm so glad I caught this moment

Running of the Bulls 2023

New Orleans

Shots from 2021, when all thought Mardi Gras would be lost- then there were house floats! People did such fun things; worth sharing some shots that some how didn't get posted yet . . . HA! Nobody is surprized at that! LOL!

House Floats

Nothing special about this shot other than it is taken in New Orleans

I usually don't post work in progress photos of my MOCs, but I decided to for this one because it's been shelved for about half a year. The design was mainly inspired by the Rossion Q1, Pagani Zonda, Pagani Huayra, and SSC Tuatara. It's been a long time since I've actually built this car, as I've been stumped by the rear. It looks too similar to the Nola Vivace, and it's too conservative for a hypercar. I think I will attempt to do a rear-end design similar to the Jaguar C-X75 eventually.

This Nola will probably remain untouched for many more months, because I think the design has potential but I simply don't have the inspiration to properly execute it. Also, does anyone have suggestions for the model name?

On another note, I have two other WIP cars that are coming along well - one should be finished and posted before school resumes again.

My Girls Nola and Hannah :)

Nola is the oldest, she is supersmart, she understands about 40 commands, she is a real hunter and loves to dig for mice.

She is my 'first born' and i love her so freaking much!

Hannah is not so smart hhe

When you tell her to 'sit' this is what happens :

She will look at me for about 4 seconds with a face saying ' HUH?' then it takes like 6 seconds, then she sits and looks real content as if she thinks ' Fuck i am smart, i remembered!' :D

She makes up for it in being BIG on empathy though.

when she has even the slightest feeling u need some comfort or attention she will hop on my lap , lays her short paws around my neck and presses her forehead hard to my forehead and stays like that till you tell her it is o.k, then she stays a bit longer before she hops off and start looking at the world again in wonder <3

Nola arrived back home yesterday and when I removed her from her box, she had this cute little hair net around her fro.

I thought it was too cute so I had to take a photo of her wearing it.

Thanks again Gina for making Nola as beautiful as she can be!

New Orleans Fetish Ball

Within minutes of arriving at Bourbon Street, we caught a small parade heading down the street.

Something that I've only seen is New Orleans so far is the hopeful graffiti. A lot of the graffiti throughout the park spoke of love and renewal...and cockroaches.

Neon colors, that is. Another shot I couldn’t get quite right, so I went wild.

Everything about Nola is perfect. I wanted to run away with her. Heather is very very lucky and I'm officially jealous.

I regularly photograph these narrow-fronted homes in Ybor City. Their New Orleans’ counterparts are wonderfully ornate.
