This 1:1 recreation of the Nexus Temple from LEGO Universe stands over 6'9" tall and 5' across; the beam of Imagination is roughly 3' and 12 studs thick. 184 Mythran statues line the walls, and a mysterious text is engraved alongside them in the Minifig language.
I made the Nexus Temple to commemorate LEGO Universe's 10th anniversary in 2020, with years of planning and devoting my entire summer to its construction. The cinematic trailer it appeared in immediately drew me into the colorful world the game took place in, and the set piece is no small part why: with its incredible scope leaving you in awe, dozens of mysterious statues lining the walls, and a beam of energy covering the room with a comforting blue glow.
Hidden on the impossible planet, Crux, the Nexus Temple houses the last essence of pure Imagination in the universe. The scene depicted takes place shortly after the discovery of the Ingress of Imagination, where the insane Baron Typhonus created the monstrous Spider Boss to demonstrate Imagination's power without limitations; the other explorers gaze up at the creature in horror at what their former friend had done.

sunset over Putty Beach in New South Wales... the evening did not look anything special until about ten minutes before sunset when it just burst to life with some amazing light and colours...
i called this one 'the nexus' in reference to Star Trek Generations - the clouds and light shining through reminded me of the energy ribbon encountered by the crew of USS Enterprise in the movie...
