My RMAd drive got back from Seagate, so now i can finally expand my ReadyNAS. I looked at the instructions online since this was the first time i'd be adding space, and it sounded straightforward. The hardest part literally was finding the screws and mounting the drive to its cage. Then i just slid it back into the NV+ and that was that. I got several FrontView popups/emails telling me what was going on, but i didn't have to do anything. A few hours later the disk was initialized and the X-RAID volume capacity was doubled. 1.5TB x 3 = 2774 GB usable space (one drive for redundancy).

I received this item as a gift. It did not come equipped to work with my broadband card from Verizon (Pantech's UM175) but after updating the firmware, it's working great! I have placed it in the location with the best reception in the house, and it delivers incredible speeds to anywhere in the house. I had not realized that it would boost performance, but overall my connection seems faster.
