It was a very warm, humid summer day. Working in mid of the day in such a hostile environment takes a toll on body.

And what a unique way of resting it is !

In life whoever is alive, has his own way of living.

No matter whats his job.

No matter what he does for living.

The principle of living is similar in everywhere.

Pig considered as domestic animals in few parts of our country, as peoples from few community used to eat pig meat. This nomadic people travel along with their pigs day after day as they don't have any particular place to stay.

In Bangladesh, there is no important breed of buffalo. Only in the districts of chittagong, noakhali, rajshahi, rangpur, dinajpur and bogra buffaloes are seen as draft animals used for ploughing and pulling carts. The total number of buffaloes in Bangladesh is about 4,57,000. The dearth of green grass is the principal limiting factor of raising buffalo in this country. An individual animal needs at least 30 kg of grass daily. The milk production of the local variety is also not very significant.

May the 2nd, 2009........ early morning....... The Old Brahmaputra is virtually dry....... this is the usual face of the river during the dry season (April-May)....... but life goes on...... dependence of the local people on the river is never reduced........

this fishermen was right in the middle of the river, and one can easily see the other end of the river, full of sand...... the river hardly flows during this time......

It really is refreshing to see fully metre gauge only stations alive and well in 2025, even if the power is EMD. Hyundai-Rotem built MEI-15 departs Mymensingh with the “Jamalpur Express” train 799 10h00 Dhaka Kamlapur - Bhuapur on 3rd February 2025. This was the train I managed to shoehorn myself onto after the MLW gave up the ghost 70 kms before Mymensingh!

Bengal is unique when it comes to rivers. Thousands of rivers are flowing through the flatlands, bringing million tons of sediments from the Himalayan streams. Result is the immeasurable amount of fertility of the land, allowing people to cultivate unbelievable amount of crops.

The life sustaining capacity of Bengal is, till now, beyond imagination.

A road constructed almost 30 years ago and never maintained. This is a place where wild elephants roam around, so people hardly use this road. (Regular use would mean at least 10 people in this frame) Hence the lack of maintenance. Still it is surprising to see a road with very few chunks of asphalts on top, and riding a motorcycle on such a road is, well, an experience to remember.
