Perfect place for an artist and art lover. This is the path leading to the Zainul Abedine Museum.
It is also known as Zainul Abedin Sangrahashala or Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Sangrahashala.
"Great Teacher of the Arts" Zainul Abedin "Art Gallery" is an art museum in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Established in 1975, it contains the collections of the artist Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin (1914–1976). The art gallery was established in Mymensingh as this is where the artist spent his early days. Abedin, a pioneer of the country's modern art movement, created works of art on subject matters such as the Bengal famine of 1943 and the people's independence. The museum is located in the area of Shaheeb Quarter Park on the bank of the Old Brahmaputra River.
Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin Sangrahashala is a branch of the National Museum. (Info. from Wiki.)
And now I have been tagged.
Tagged by someone, of whom I had thought “we can’t be friends” from the very first comment he had made on my stream. Now, Ata mia is the only friend I managed to make from flickr! How pathetic is that? :-P No, he isn’t pathetic, rather it is me. :-)
Now, am I about to reveal everything? I feel someone screaming “NO” in my head at the very thought of it. And its alter ego tries to convince me “At least you should try to express yourself”. And the middle man says “It won’t hurt!”
2 against 1. Here you go.
1.Everyone starts with the name. So shall I. My name is Ashif MD. Ridwan. There is a huge issue about my name. My dad named me “Asif” MD. Ridwan. But after watching Pokemon, I was desperate to change my name to Ashif- so that in short I can be Ash! My mum always wanted Ashif, and that’s how it got settled. After 9 years, I got this name! :P
And also, people call me Ridi/Ridwan/Redu/Redwan/Ridiana/Ledu/Lidi etc.
2.From what I can remember, I was addicted to comics and books from an early age. Yes, I am guilty of stealing some comics, but only from those who had also stolen from me! Do they remember it? Or are they forgiven for being older than me? I dunno.
3.I wanted to be –
Pilot
Astronaut
Detective
Writer
Hacker
Movie maker
Drummer……….and I dunno where I will end up
4.Surprised to see that “Photographer” is not in that list? Don’t worry, I am a chor photographer! Not something one wants to be. Maybe I will quit photography soon.
5.In my English class, I was always few steps ahead of one of my fav teacher, Niharanjan Sir. He used to dictate lines for us to practice ”fill up the gaps” and I always ended up saying a few words before he had said them, including the answers. Even though I had never heard of or read those before. :P and I translated the first three chapters of the Bengali version of “Harry Potter and the Half blood prince” published from Aunkur publishers. Apparently, they never gave me the credit (I still have the manuscript. if you want to check it, you are welcome).
6.I am into music and painting. I gave up painting a long ago, but still can’t live without music. I have my ipod classic always with me loaded with 68 GBs of music. Linkin Park is my all time fav. And I listen to everything with a catchy tune too.
7.I almost forgot to mention it, but I started photography cause I wanted to impress girls. Ahemz. Never succeeded.
8.Now some dark stuffs-
I had beaten up two persons, thrice during my school years, because they had called my parents some names. Those two boys, are the best two faced person, who can charm any person with their talks and thus no one believed me that they called my parents names and there were rallies against me commanded by my classmates. I am very sensitive about family. Surprising thing is that those two once were my best friends. I never am good at choosing friends or identifying person to mix with.
9.I am very short tempered. But now I have somewhat learnt to control myself from doing wild things when I am at rage.
10.I have several personalities. Not that I acquired them willingly. One is a moody dark character, who makes decisions from emotions. One that is always funny and cracks jokes and one that likes to be silent and watching type.
11.I am good at making friends with people older/younger than me. Strangely, not of my own age.
12.The nightmare I have frequently- falling from the someplace very high. I have height phobia.
13.My parents, and now my roommates have found out that I do sleep talking. In English, that is.
14.I like to eat sweet things. I can’t eat meals which are too hot or too spicy. I never prefer tea/coffee over cold drinks
15.I am not the kind of guy who likes to think twice before spending money. I spend a LOT.
16.I was born in Wye, Kent, England. Lived in Germany for several years.
17.I always liked to be in the thick of things. Now with age, comes refraining from doing things I loved to do once
18.I was inspired to do photography by three persons. First it was NiH, I aint lying dude. Then it was Fahim hossain and Mahran vai.
19.I work as a photographer at the Dreamcatchers and have never been explored in flickr. :@
20.I am taken. I am with a girl, who has dedicated her life for me. Full stop
Shall I tag someone? :-/
I don’t know much people here on flickr. Still, let’s give it a try.
NiH vai
Pronoy vai
Bokehmon
Zaim vai
Mahran vai
Monir vai
Niloy vai
Apurbo vai
Jadeed
Faiza
[I always love to express my own thoughts and feeling through a description. But for some reason I’m not in the mood. Not up for a single word. Maybe some other time. For now, just sharing my photos with all my friends and strangers out there. Best wishes for all.]

Holi is the festival of colors. It is a day on which we express our inner love for all the colors that paint our world by spreading it around. But behind every color we love, there can also be found some inner meaning. A deeper symbolism lies behind every color we see. This is why we find ourselves attracted to particular colors and why we love to explore them
Let our hearts take the lead....

"I was standing
All alone against the world outside
You were searching
For a place to hide
Lost and lonely
Now you’ve given me the will to survive
When we’re hungry...love will keep us alive! ... ... ... " [Scorpions]

Many a time I eavesdrop at the distant gates of my own heart
Who is it, that mysterious dweller
The one whose secrets I so wish to hear
The story behind the laughter and tears
Many a time I strive to hear.
Where the bee wanders from it’s path
In quest of a hidden flower
Which bird is it that sings at night
Alone in a darkness sans friend
Many a time I get to hear.
Who is he to me, who knows
A bit do I glimpse of his glow
Another bit I speculate
Little still do I understand
Oftentimes his missive finds expression in my speech..
His words come to me wrapped in melody of song...
Many a time when I listen.
- Rabindranath Tagore

Durgapur is the only place in the entire country where china clay is found in very small amount. Surprisingly, there are a few small ponds on the clay deposit, making the water very greenish-blueish depending on the time of the day. It made a great tourist attraction out of this place. I was one of those interested tourists, curious to find out what's the deal with this place.
Everyone leaves when you have no use. So learn to walk alone because no one will stay forever.
