Snowflakes, snowflakes... They are so small, but together they form snowdrifts and cover the surface of the ground and tree branches, beautifying the landscape in white. The snowflakes in this photo melted away, but during the weekend and the beginning of the week, there has been a new snow cover in the forests. Winter seems to have come. More snowflakes fly from the sky to the white cold ground.

My old Harley-Davidson Dyna Lowrider. I had a ton of fun riding her all over central New Mexico mostly. A few people have wondered why I used a Canon PowerShot for many of my photos. The answer is pretty simple. The compact camera was easy to slip into a shirt pocket, and I could pull over and photograph what I wanted, and not take a chance of destroying a Nikon DSLR if I crashed the bike. And the way many people in NM drive cars and trucks, not even seeing motorcycles, the possibility of getting hit was significant. Damn, I miss that ride!
