I first read this book about 40 years ago, when I was around twenty. I remember that I LOVED it and then went on to read all the rest of Caldwell's books. However, I did not find it so wonderful this time. The conversations and characters did not seem at all realistic.
Here's another reason why I paid extra for Studio Edition II. Just pop the cover open and the drives are ready to go. Upgraded mine from 2x 500GB to 2x 1TB.
Nice hard drive. Stoopid packaging. Makes it difficult to stack these things well. There isn't even a notch so the things could be hung on a rack bar of some sort.

This is an old desk return that became a side table in our room to house the computer crap in there.

a book I read when I was a child, and I am reading it again now. Part of it takes place in Niagara County, New York, where I grew up
It's taken since the Tuesday before Christmas, but the final tape is now in and being recovered. Less than 1TB and over a month is why tapes suck. Imagine if it was due to an active server failing.
Some backup.

This is a version of Turndust, an artist's book project I am currently working on. This is an early stage 'storyboard' version. I've posted it because I am interested in seing if I can use community on Flickr to add something to the design process. What do you think of it? What could be improved? What's good? What does it make you think about?
I'm planning to develop the book for screenprint in one or two colours with hand colouring in watercolour, so each book will be a little different, although still part of an edition. I plan to include new versions and working-up on Flickr as I go along.
Since this book is intended as a narrative, it's best read from beginning to end. I recommend looking at the set.
Thanks for any comments.
