Built in the early 20th Century, this Tudor Revival-style building was originally a funeral home, a function it continues to serve to this day. The building, appearing a bit out of place in its decidedly victorian context, features a brick exterior with stone trim, half-timbering on the two front gable wall dormers, a side-gable roof, double-hung windows, a front porch with stone piers and a porte cochere, a steeply-pitched front gable with an arched window on the second floor and a doorway with an awning on the first floor, and a one-story rear wing with a low-slope roof. The building is a contributing structure in the Covington Downtown Commercial Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and presently houses Serenity Funeral Care.
