Taken on the way to Central Otago early one summers morning, we followed this huge mob of sheep along a rural back road for several kilometres in the fog, it made my day :-)
these two young osprey peer down off the side of their nesting platform.
Their one sibling has already spread it's wings and taken to the sky.
These two look like they are seriously considering following suit here.

Ein Stück Totholz am Waldrand berührte mich .Es war schon fast zerstört ,aber seine Linien ,Muster und die verschiedenen Farben haben mich sehr beeindruckt ,so schön.
Looking out for sheep that hide among the tall grass rushes down beside the flowing Patea River banks. Annual muster roundup for the Perrindale Ewe's & their lambs for drenching & lamb tail docking.
Hard to know how old this Artcraft Police sign is. Artcraft still designs effective signage solutions for industry and
infrastructure within Australia. This one hangs within the muster area of the museum.
This morning I attended the Memorial Day service at the small Union Cemetery in Redwood City which has been in the National Register of Historic Places for nearly 40 years. It's the longest running Memorial Day commemoration on the Peninsula. The cemetery was founded in 1859, and 79 veterans of several wars are buried here.
