We were walking back to our car (a pedestrian Honda van, don’t you know) when I noticed this little cutie across the street. Had to take a photo. Wish it was mine. Drove home in the van.

Pretty sure it's a base Mustang with a "Mach 1" looking

It was a highly versatile and effective fighter aircraft that excelled in all roles, from escorting bombers to engaging enemy fighters. Its long range capability allowed it to effectively protect Allied bombers deep into enemy territory.

The Ford Mustang has been In continuous production since 1964 and has surpassed 10 million units. The car is currently in its seventh generation.

This early 1965 Ford Mustang, AHJ 476C, was seen at Brooklands Classic Car Day on 30th March 2024.
