1964 model Mustang.
Olympic Drive, Kirribilli.
Near Milsons Point.
Sydney.
Not just any Mustang.
But an original 1964 model.
The first ever Mustang.
Converted to right-hand drive in 1965 at Ford, Homebush.
Discovered by me, quite by accident, as I walked under the harbour bridge on my way to catch the ferry at Milsons Point Wharf. This Mustang is owned by a young woman, in her twenties, from western Sydney!!

Tried to make this P51 mustang look as powerful as it actually is. With it's massive Rolls Royce Merlin engine. 27 Liters V12... Simply an amazing machine.
I tried to create this whitebox effect. I got a couple of more shots coming up from this amazing aircraft in the same style!

"Mustang Sally, think you better slow your mustang down.
Mustang Sally, think you better slow your mustang down.
You been running all over the town now.
Oh! I guess I'll have to put your flat feet on the ground.
All you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride.
All you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride.
All you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride.
One of these early mornings, oh, you gonna be wiping your weeping eyes.
I bought you a brand new mustang 'bout nineteen sixty five
Now you come around signifying a woman, you don't wanna let me ride.
All you want to do is ride around Sally, ride, Sally, ride."
Not often you see one of these vintage Mustangs parked on an Edinburgh streets!
A classic first-generation Ford Mustang with a vibrant personality, when horsepower meets Pride parade.
I decided to upload something a bit different tonight. I drove by a shopping plaza and saw these two Mustangs in the parking lot. I decided to pull over and get some photos. I know the one is a 1970. Not sure what year the newer one is. I miss my old fastback. :D
“If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said ‘faster horses'.” – Henry Ford
1967 is the 3rd most popular year model with Ford producing 472,000 Mustangs and only follows the 1966 (1st - 607,500) and 1965 (2nd - 559,500) model years in total numbers produced.
Three bracketed photos were taken with a handheld Nikon D5200 and combined with Photomatix Pro to create this HDR image. Additional adjustments were made in Photoshop CS6.
