Late at night and not many in the streets but a man and his Sanshin(3 strings) instrument. And a little bit of alcohol.
I was hanging some coats in the closet when I found these glamorous ladies on a shelf in the back. Can there ever be too many Day of the Dead toys?
A street performer and his parrot in Porto Portugal. The instrument used a folded punch card strip of folded paper to play "recorded" music. He was getting it placed in the player to play some more music.
I uploaded this image while on our trip. I had no laptop, so a little post processing was done on my little iPod using Photoshop Express.

In the background, Frédéric Back's painted glass mural is an homage to the history of music in Montréal, from the time of Jacques Cartier to the contemporary era. Inaugurated in 1967, the immense work consists of thousands of superimposed glass blades, illuminated by 105 tubes and supported by a ton of steel.
Dans l'arrière plan, cette verrière de Frédéric Back rend hommage à l’histoire de la musique à Montréal, de l’époque de Jacques Cartier jusqu’à la musique contemporaine. Inauguré en 1967, l'immense oeuvre se constitue de milliers de lames de verre superposées, éclairées par 105 tubes et appuyées par une tonne d'acier.
