Sedos presents Ragtime: The Musical, a sweeping epic musical about the birth of America that weaves together real celebrities and historical events with a timeless tale of three families in pursuit of the American Dream.
Set in the melting pot of New York, the stories of a stifled upper-class wife, a determined Jewish immigrant and a daring young Harlem musician are intertwined, united by their desire and belief in a brighter tomorrow. Together, they confront history’s timeless contradictions of wealth and poverty, freedom and prejudice, hope and despair - and what it means to live in America.

Photos were taken at "The Golden Dynasty Musical" ... a large scale musical drama in Beijing Happy Valley theatre. It tells the story of war, banquets and romance and how the beautiful Golden Mask Queen built a glorious kingdom with wisdom, tolerance, trust and love.
By the percussion band from Nam Sieng Dragon & Lion Dance Activity Centre at the Kreta Ayer Square during the Chinese New Year festival celebrations nightly stage show.
My gorgeous friend Janelle dressed up as a vamp. She kind of set a scene that reminded me of Twilight when I caught her playing the piano in the music room.

The Musical Staircase is near the entrance. It is fenced off to prevent further damage by uncaring visitors who do not appreciate our magnificent ancient heritage. However, if you engage an ASI guide, he will allow interested visitors to have a look and to take photos.
Darasuram is a small settlement less than 5km distance from Kumbakonam.
It is a World Heritage site of the ancient and magnificent treasure house of art, architecture and sculpture - the Airavateswara temple, originally built by the Chola kings on the lines of the great temples of Tanjore, Gangaikondacholapuram and Thirubhuvanam.
Many visitors to the Cauvery delta are not even aware of the existence of this magnificent complex at Darasuram.
Darasuram has the ambience of Hampi but on a much grander albeit smaller scale. There is something very peaceful and inviting about it.
This is also a small cottage industry centre for silk weaving and weavers will themselves approach you here, inviting you to visit their homes cum weaving centres in the village beyond the outer ramparts.
