Sunday, March 3, 2011 Song of the day: Hanson "Musical Ride"
Howdy, howdy and happy day! I hope you are having a restful and inspiring Sunday.
I really need to get editing on the mime video- but other ideas keep popping in my head and I try to do those first. "One thing at a time" is such a hard concept for me! All of those ideas failed today, anyway;)
Another environmental rant: So, you know those plastic ring thingers that hold cans of pop together? Well, when I was young my mom taught me to always cut them up so none of the rings remain together to ensure that if they get into the ocean or lake or river that none of the animals get their head caught in it. From this day, I've always cut those rings into pieces to ensure I don't cause harm to any animals. With that said, it makes me sad that these rings potentially end up in bodies of water to begin with. Humans are such a wasteful species and I'm trying to do my part to reduce waste but it's hard not to be selfish when you just want a 6 pack of diet coke.
Girls are dumb: Last night I was having a wardrobe conundrum, as usual, and Bethany and D were helping me through it. They informed me that my clothing is a mix between the style of a grandma and a 14-year old. There's a little 'teacher' inspiration in there also, says D. If I didn't like my clothes, I'd probably take offense to this but since I intentionally buy my clothing because I like it, I'm just going to accept the fact that my love for floral and high-waisted shorts makes me a teenaged-grandma. Erbadever.
I'm having a "music is great!" kind of day. I love it, I love it, I love it. It brightens my world and I am oh-so-thankful for the individuals who were blessed with musical talent and share it with us talent-less folk everyday.

On Sept. 24th, 2016, the RCMP performed their final Musical Ride of the season, in Canada, at the Ancaster Fair. Here are some photos from that performance.
In the series of the musical princess, there was exclusive 3: poppins mary, tinkerbell and ariel but these 2 last ones is almost untraceable today...

It means: Musical Instruments at the Golden Rooster (lots of restaurants, shops, or hotels in old town identify themselves from ornaments, like the golden rooster, dating back to when there weren't street names)

RCMP Musical Ride—Sunset Ceremonies. June 26—30 from 7—9 pm at RCMP Stables.
Terry Breese, the Charge d’affaires of the US Mission to Canada, attended the RCMP Musical Ride and 'drop-in' from the 'Golden Knights' parachute team on June 26, 2009.
The Musical Ride: Representing a colourful tradition and ceremony through the horse and the scarlet uniform, the RCMP created a spectacle known around the world as the Musical Ride. For more information visit:
