Jan 6th, -12C outside, felt like -20C with the wind, already running out of original ideas so this is what I shot....not very original, but meh....my wife liked it. I shot this picture in a mirror. I still hadn't figured a good way to creat a dark background yet, and didn't have any good lighting. I setup an Ikea lamp in between the door and door frame, setup the camera in the bathroom shooting in the mirror. You can't see the camera remote behind me..in the shadows
sooc. I think the clouds and trail of smoke tell the story. Although the plane is a small element, the pilot is a large, but unseen, element. I think he must have a screw loose.

Gabby, Sarah, and I attempted to make a trip to Burgess Falls, however, about halfway along the trail, it began to pour. down. rain. and we couldn't see 2 feet in front of us. We decided swimming in a waterfall during a storm wasn't in our best interest. Although we were disappointed, all was resolved because we were drenched by the time we got back to the car, so we basically got the same post-swim effect. In the above photo, you see Gabby standing in the middle of a rural road in Sparta, TN to move a flower pot out of the way of Sarah's car. Gabby saves the day.
