This is a piece I did on a human anatomy course. This skull was lifecast from a real human figure. Then using a sculpting wax we built up the different muscles that sit under the skin from a real human body that had been dissected to identify how they engage with each other and work.

These two sun worshipers were hanging around the rose garden in the Palisades Park in Santa Monica soaking in the rays. They were glistening with suntan oil and as proud of their muscles as the beautiful roses were of their color and scent.

The Yarnbombers of Saltburn have created more handmade masterpieces for the London 2012 Olympics. After the mindless vandalism of the first set of figures, a new set has been created (complete with knitted CCTV camera!), to incorporate some of the surviving figures, some revamped and also some new exciting ones to show off the Olympic torch as well which passed through Saltburn via Saltburn Bank which is next to the pier. I sincerely hope that the rotten perps who vandalised the last lot, keep well away !!!!!!!
