This is a multiplicity or clone handcuff escape photo. (By the way I am in the picture)
To escape from handcuffs i use 2 clones (not true clones) for magic assistant.
In a real Magic SHow i use assistants from public.
The handcuffs in the picture is real, I use in my Magic Show.

This is my favorite Melanie on the planet! She's been looking after me while I prepare for my mini-me and was also there when I needed to vanquish a roommate from hell. Everyone needs a Melanie in her corner!
I used one AB800 in a beauty dish directly above the camera. She was about 13 feet from the white background which allowed it to go gray.
So after messing around with stuff, I learned ths is not a type of HDR, it is rather multiplicity. I found some tutorials and after photoshopping it with layered masks. this is what I came up with...decent job in my opinion, but I had some blanket moving and stuff....

Week 23 - Multiplicity

For this photo, I took five pictures of my friend Kaylie, put them into photoshop, and cut out the individual shots of her, layering them on top of each other to create the effect that she was in multiple places at once. I adjusted the lighting on some of the layers to give a more realistic effect, and blurred some of the layered edges to hide imperfect cutouts.
This is my first attempt at a multiplicity shot for my college course. Still need to do a lot of work to get it to a good enough standard but i'll take it for now. Any comments on how I can improve it would be appreciated.
Artist Statement - Alyssa Frenz
This is my multiplicity piece; first i took the different poses separately. Keeping the Tripod in the same exact place. Then, using photoshop, I stacked the photographs on top of one another and edited them together. I chose the poses I did because each of them say a different thing about me, like for instance I held a pumpkin because my favorite season is fall. The reading pose is because i've always loved reading and I basically own my own little library. This assignment was fun but challenging, if I were to do this again I would probably go somewhere outside with a lot of trees. I recommend this for beginners.
I decided to have some fun with the kids this morning at the cottage. Please note, I only have 2 kids and not 6.

I choose this location because i'm in my room a lot and i love being in my room. My favourite part of work, while working on this assignment was cloning myself and watching twins pop up. My work turned out alright! I'm happy with it, although i do wish it was real life & i had at least one real twin.
This is a "Multiplicity" shot, for those who knows me for awhile, you are used to see me making doubles of the same person... That's right, this is the same person in the same photo.

They had just finished their homework and wanted to let off steam. It was near impossible to get any sense out of them, so I let them pull faces and do gymnastics or whatever and this is the fun outcome. They're funny kids and I love them to bits.

Thankful that Axel took a long nap, I jumped at the opportunity to shoot again. Unfortunately, Toushiro kept tagging along when I pose and I had to delete him in a couple of pictures... but his little butt sticking out from that table is just too cute too erase.
