Layered images with a few extra dots for good measure. Just a bit of fun. I hope you'll enjoy the journey through this image too.
The background is a wall at the back of the Dowse Gallery covered in reflective stickering. My silhouette is reflected along with an intriguing exhibition and lovely light leaks. Wrinkles in the stickers a reminder of the glitches in the matrix.
Happy days to you and yours xxx

Just started a 52 weeks project. I thought it would be easier at work and at home to have clones of myself to manage 2009! Done with the Gimp. Obviously I am taking the picture while my clones are posing.

I am usually bad at conceptuall work, find it hard to direct and arrange previsualized imagery. I don't have the patience I guess. But I do try sometimes, with dubious success. Here is the latest attempt. Don't laugh, please :)

The sun is just coming up over Twin Lakes in the Mammoth Lakes Region of the Sierra Nevada. The water is still except where a couple of ducks are scavenging their breakfast. On the bank under the trees sit some fishing boats awaiting another day of pleasure. A wonderful place to spend some time, Im thinkin'.

There are times in life when things seem out of control. You feel like you can't overcome them. If you can hang on, though, you'll get through it. That is what this Utah Juniper was demonstrating to me. It doesn't get enough water to flourish and the very ground on which it stands is slowly eroding away. But it digs in its roots as a person who hangs on the edge by his fingernails. He's determined to see another day, week, month, and year. He's a survivor.

This old guy fell many years ago, but his resting place couldn't be more lovely. Here he lies on the shore of Lake George with the reflection of Crystal Crag greeting him each morning.
He's had a rough life as you can see by the "wrinkles" on his body, but he is at rest now.
Note that the water is so clean, you can see the bottom of the lake below the reflection.
