Giant PG&E building at Fremont and Howard, SF. Did you read "A Wrinkle in Time"? I think this is the building where IT lives. Inside there is a giant, disemboding brain that knows what you are thinking.
Action ute i øy-idyllen. Det kom et lite uvær med mye vind som gjorde at naboene mistet ankerfestet og dermed drev på grunn. Etter mye styr og til slutt redningstjenesten fra Strømstad kom de seg av og over til andre siden av bukten. Greide ikke helt å slappe av selv heller, så vi flyttet oss etter. Nå ligger vi godt fortøyd langs fjellet og koser oss. Sola titter stadig fram og middagen står i ovnen. Orker ikke flytte oss før i morgen, er så deilig her ute.
Ellers er stemningen god ombord. Jacob bor hos meg i forpiggen og har flyttet inn diverse leker og stasj dit. Godt å ha mac og tegnefilmer på dvd da han våkner, da som regel en god stund før meg... Anna begynner å bli bra i foten etter det som sannsynligvis var en hoggormbitt. Johanne kjører gummibåten rundtomkring. Mener selv hun ikke kan det, men det er bare tull. Anna er akkurat så slitsom å ha ombord som forventet, dvs null stress og bare hyggelig. Tror Ingrid og Mona har det godt også. Selv storkoser jeg meg...
Da har vi forlatt fantastiske Hydra tett i hvite hus og trange steinlagte gater. Dagens nest største høydepunkt ble 300 høydemeter opp til munkeklosteret. Formidabel utsikt, og munken slapp oss inn til ikoner og ettertanke mot to sigaretter fra en lykkelig giver. Så til dagens høydare: I stor beundring over plagget som passer like godt til lands som til vanns, og aller mest til ære for vår kjære skipper Roger Lund. Speedo til folket!

A multimedia art installation was suspended from the Black Box theater ceiling. It was prepared by music doctoral candidate Hunter Ewen and artist Kellie Masterson. The hanging artwork created a display of light, color and motion and served as a screen upon which video of John Cage was projected. It was a part of the John Cage percussion concert with Chicago-based Third Coast Percussion in A Concert About Nothing, Oct. 12, 2012.

I took this picture today in my studio, just before I took these drawings down and packed them up for my art show in New Hampshire. In late November, I had hung them up for Open Studios at Red Brick. I made these drawings from an old abandoned figure painting I had started with acrylic paint; this fall, I cut the painting up into nine pieces, and drew into each piece with conte crayon, making nine small landscapes. The position of each drawing on the wall corresponds to the position of the piece of paper in the original figure painting. When I hang these drawings in New Hampshire, I think I will hang them in one horizontal line. But in case I change my mind and want to use the original order, I can use this photo as a reference.
heh. Kids holding each other up because head banging and keeping balance are too hard to do simultaneously. Normally at gigs we look for a bar extension, tonight it was a bedtime extension. The band needs a lot more practise, and letting your drummer be your lead singer is just wrong.
