Interactive Multimedia Installation at SomoS Arts, Berlin
21-24.11.2018, SomoS presented the solo exhibition "Here" by current Artist-in-Residence, multimedia artist and educator Linda Post (US).
"Here" builds upon the artist’s psychogeographic exploration of Berlin’s creative and intellectual history, following unseen paths and discovering forgotten spaces. This creative research forms the basis of an immersive interactive installation employing video and software, that interlinks the present and the past. It creates fragile narratives that allow the visitors to virtually transcend space and time, enabling a personal sense of displacement, and rendering the city’s genealogy of progressive thought and expression relatable.

Onkelbarna sitter og spiller ludo på dekk, Ingrid vasker opp og Mona og jeg sitter og koser oss med aviser og vin. Har kommet oss til Storö på Väderöarna, har faktisk vært her en stund også. Spilt fotball, badet, kastet frisbee og hatt det generelt digg i hele dag. Skikkelig deilig vær, sol fra blå himmel. Gode og mette i magen etter kjøttbollar og stappe til middag. Skal snart en tur på den lokale kroa og drikke kaffe, i ett av de 7 husene som befinner seg her ute i havgapet. I morgen venter mange timer over åpent hav tilbake til Norge. Blir spennende å se hvordan været og vinden oppfører seg da...
Multimedia Waterfall - The 15-meter tall waterfall was created by Ghesa Water and Art. It changes colours and writes messages in the water.
There was part of the stone basement wall hiding under the cabinet. When I ripped down the wood I found a hole in the block that likely went clear down (it looked pretty deep). They stuffed it with insulation. :)
