'One Night in Miami' Director Carl Cofield was in Denver on Aug. 14 for pre-production meetings and to attend a meet-and-greet in his honor. To celebrate Black Philanthropy Month, more than 65 members of the Denver African American Philanthropists collaborated with The Links, The Denver Foundation and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts to host a discussion with Cofield moderated by the Theatre Company's Associate Artistic Director, Bruce Sevy. The shared purpose of the Denver Foundation is to to expand philanthropy in communities of color and support the arts. The play runs March 19-April 20, 2015. AKA The Muhammad Ali Center, in downtown Louisville. From a nice long expedition downtown last October with Sean. I hadn't been there before, but I'm glad we went because this fountain is AWESOME. I didn't get a great photo, but Sean got an awesome one of me trying. Also, it's kind of hard to tell here, but you can see Ali's face on the mosaic on the left wall, and you can see him boxing on the right wall. This isn't the greatest perspective to see those, but they're crystal clear from the Interstate that runs next to it, and it's pretty cool.

“Fighter’s Heaven”, Muhammad Ali’s Training Camp in Deer Lake, Pennsylvania, was the training facility built by Muhammad Ali, where he trained for some of his biggest fights. It is now open to the public, free of charge, to tour.
