Okay, so I'm not the Greatest. Never wanted to be the greatest and according to Flickr I'm even small, tiny and nothing! As I said a couple weeks ago my membership is soon up for renewal and I simply cannot see why I should renew my account. I don't even want to wait until the final day.
I thought about letting off some steam first and throw a few jabs but it's not worth it. Let me just say that Flickr is apparently not about photography--especially not quality thereof. It's also not about community and friendship although so many people exactly claim this. Quit commenting on their stream and wait and see.
So, what's next you ask? This is your final image? This tribute to Hoepker and the Greatest won't be my last picture on Flickr. So don't worry, I'll still upload some images but less frequent and most of all quietly. I'll still follow many streams through my RSS reader and occasionally leave a comment if I truly like a image but I simply won't be a part of this hole reciprocation charade any longer. Oh, and no more groups (except a few worth to read the discussions).
Furthermore I'll have to trim my account since the free account has some restrictions. There's a limited view to the 200 most recent images. I'll display my full catalog of images somewhere else which unfortunately isn't setup yet. It may take a while until all is finished and the way I like it. So, when all is setup the images here on Flickr will serve as teasers to my other place.

Muhammad Ali is generally considered to be the greatest heavyweight boxer in the history of the sport. Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, his birth name was Cassius Marcellus Clay but changed his name when he converted to Islam. His fights with Joe Frazier and George Forman are considered some of the greatest fights in the history of the sport. He died on June 3, 2016 from the complications of Parkinson's disease and is resting here in one of the more secluded spot in Cave Hill Cemetery.

Muhammad Yunus (Bengali: মুহাম্মদ ইউনূস; born 28 June 1940) is a Bangladeshi social entrepreneur, banker, economist and civil society leader who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for founding the Grameen Bank and pioneering the concepts of microcredit and microfinance. These loans are given to entrepreneurs too poor to qualify for traditional bank loans. In 2006, Yunus and the Grameen Bank were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize "for their efforts through microcredit to create economic and social development from below". The Norwegian Nobel Committee noted that "lasting peace cannot be achieved unless large population groups find ways in which to break out of poverty" and that "across cultures and civilizations, Yunus and Grameen Bank have shown that even the poorest of the poor can work to bring about their own development".Yunus has received several other national and international honours. He received the United States Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009 and the Congressional Gold Medal in 2010.
In 2008, he was rated #2 in Foreign Policy magazine's list of the 'Top 100 Global Thinkers'.
