they call this male Cheetah in the Kwara concession due to his special abilities. He´s often found climbing trees which is unusual for a Cheetah.

This is the most amusing squirrel I've ever seen (and I've rehabbed many). He is totally wild, yet seemed perfectly comfortable with me coming within 3 feet of him, then he would drop down like a platypus and stay in that position until I tried to move closer. This sequence continued through about 4 of my approaches. I've seen squirrels lie like this on tree branches before, but never on the ground. I think this may be a cooling off mechanism??
Hello my amazing friends !
Mr. Flamingo is with us and he has many, many pink heart shaped balloons ! So lets celebrate, it is Friday after all !!
Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! See you later !!
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!!
a white fronted bee eater (merops albicollis).
this kind of bee eater con be found in south africa all the year around.it's a lovely bird and in some areas quite common.
in photography the hardest part is in this case to get the details of the white front.the whites are very easy to be "fired" especially in canon.take care on exposure!

Mr. Cardinals Choices he had to think about either a peanut or some bird seed, they like the bird seed but will snatch a peanut some times, found in North Carolina.
eccolo qui Mr. Green, in tutto il suo splendore....un amico molto docile e mansueto che si è fatto "maneggiare" con pazienza e tranquillità, girando da una mano all'altra, lasciandosi coccolare e fotografare da vera star....
The lovely Mr Whiskers.
The cat (Felis catus) is a small carnivorous mammal. It is the only domesticated species in the family Felidae
and often referred to as the domestic cat to distinguish it from wild members of the family. The cat is either a house cat or a farm cat, which are pets, or a feral cat, which ranges freely and avoids human contact.
Have a lovely day and look after yourself
Pumpkin from a local pumpkin trail. There were so many cool ones I’m at a bit of a loss what to post before Halloween!
52/52-2018 WHOOT!
Mr. Scrub Jay was born this early Spring in our garden's
Colorado Spruce, months later I have whistle trained
him to come to the upstairs window for fat peanuts ,
or better yet, I admit he has me well trained to deliver
treats upon his call :)
Celebrating completing the 52 Project, probably the
last one on flickr....who knows what next year will bring...

Taken at 9.18pm I just wish he could come a bit earlier but a few dog walkers here so he has to wait and also me of course the light would be better too. But happy with this.

Lovely evening in the national park of Malalcahuello, amazing valley full of araucarias. This lonely specie was a extraordinary case for my shoot, Chile.
A perfect example of how the story telling of a photograph can be utterly misleading. So if you're looking at this you'll almost surely think that quite angry look was directed at me. But I'm almost certain it wasn't. In case it's not entirely evident he is on a bicycle and he was approaching a junction, hence him looking my way to check for traffic. I admit that I did set him up for this as I'd seen him approaching and so was set up to take the shot as he went past.
The trick of the street photographer is to make the subject think they are NOT the object of the camera's attention. Sometimes we are more successful than others.
Good morning everyone. Just a single pic once again today, this time of a male Halloween Pennant (Celithemis eponina) photographed last month in a field at the reclaimed strip mine. Couldn't ask for a nicer pose (which is pretty typical for a Halloween Pennant) and the setting with the burnt amber background.
Thank you for stopping by...and I hope you're having a truly nice day and week.
