After ten years of restoration, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam reopened. I explored it all yesterday and honestly, it was magnificent because not only does the art blow your mind, the building itself is a piece of art. I'm so thankful that our world still appreciates artistic ways. It's proof that the human race is going in a peaceful and creative direction. That's important today and forever.

In honor of the theme this week - I have chosen this museum window image. I could have chosen historic stained glass, but instead wanted to show how playful the museum is with the modern change they made.

Hello! i can't believe that i have returned to flickr after so many years being away. Its an amazing feeling and if you are reading this then thank you so much for coming over to my profile.

I felt that this would be an amazing space for me to show the creative and strange world that i have been creating with my images and this could not have been a better image to start on.

The whole point to this image was the idea that our memories in our heads flow and are constant stream of never ending feelings and thoughts. However now reviewing this image that I originally made back in 2013 as part of my A-Levels and through some of the elements that i have been through since making the image, it is now made me more aware of how memories are the most delicate thing in the world. How memories in whatever form are what keep us grounded, they help to shape and fine the person we have and will become and i feel that moving forward from some of the experiences that i have been through, this may also helps have my practice as i progress further.

I have lots of images coming up, from my past creations to up and coming new releases that will be exclusive to the world so please stay tuned and i hope to keep you guys interested i what I'm producing.

I got to have a great adventure with Ember this weekend! There wasn't enough to do at work so they told me to take off, which was incredibly bizarre to have off time, but hey won't complain! Yesterday took Ember to my campus and trekked about 4.5 miles, and today we went to a local place called rails to trails, it's a beautiful path settled in the mountains beside a river. We went about 7.5 miles overall today. It was pretty empty so I let Ember walk in front so long as she didn't pull. I don't know who is more wore out - her or me!

Illia Lager, 10, who lives in the conflict-affected mining village of Druzhba in eastern Ukraine, stands in front of a water pipeline near the family’s home. For the Lager family, living close to the contact line comes with a constant fear of shelling, landmines, water shortages and financial hardship. In addition, the protracted conflict continues to take a substantial toll on their mental health. Illia’s mother Viktoria attended the positive parenting workshops supported by UNICEF and the European Union and learned how to support her children and manage their fears.

ok first off really quickly, this isn't an HDRi or multiple images, just multiple processes of the same image.

So what I've been experimenting with is outputting several different versions of one image to photoshop from lightroom or acr and layering them.

In Lightroom I create a B&W version tweaked for luminosity and export to photoshop for the background layer, then add various lightly tinted overlay or color layers in order to get the effect I want. Still not perfect, and I'm noticing even the slightest vingette builds up quickly with overlaying. I was wondering if anyone else has any experience doing this or tips for better results?
